I picked up three items from Item Beauty while perusing the Clean at Sephora makeup section a few months back. I was intrigued by their price point. Everything was under $20! So, I got the Lash Snack (mascara), Lid Glaze (Cream Eyeshadow), and Air Hug Concealer. Read on for my review of Item Beauty at Sephora makeup products!
Item Beauty Brand Story
Item Beauty was founded by Addison Rae, a famous TikTok Influencer, along with beauty brand incubator Madeby Collective. Madeby Collective is part of BFA (Beauty For All) Industries, which includes IPSY and Boxy Charm. Item is available at Sephora, Amazon, Kohls, and The Item Beauty website.
Air Hug Concealer
My favorite product from Item Beauty is the Air Hug Concealer. There are 20 shades of this concealer. I purchased the lightest shade, which is fair with neutral undertones. I like to have a neutral undertone concealer for my under-eye region, as it helps to brighten my tired under-eyes with natural pink undertones. This concealer has a nice satin-matte finish with medium-full coverage. The doe foot wand is HUGE. It is more like a mega wand, which is nice if you don’t have the steadiest hand or best eyesight. I have loved this concealer and have profiled it on my Save or Splurge Instagram series!
Item Beauty at Sephora Lash Snack
Item Beauty’s Lash Snack is a lengthening mascara. It is not volumizing, which I look for most in mascara. This mascara doesn’t have the va-voom I like for evenings out. It has a small silicon wand that is shaped like a pine tree. I think this mascara is excellent for day-to-day wear, and it doesn’t smudge, isn’t clumpy, and gives nice definition.
Item Beauty Lid Glaze
I have loved the Item Beauty Lid Glaze in Lunar Drops! It is an iridescent shimmery champagne shade. This formulation is not opaque, so don’t expect that. It is a sheer wash of gold with a very shimmery finish. This doesn’t bunch in my crease and wears nicely throughout the day. The Lid Glaze has a small doe foot wand. I typically apply it with the wand and blend it on my lid with my fingers.
Final Thought on Item Beauty at Sephora
I would recommend Item Beauty for budget clean beauty lovers! It is not a natural or organic brand, but is cleaner than most makeup available to the mainstream customer. The wear of the three products I purchased is great, and I love that the brand is available at Sephora. I am looking to try more of their products, like their blush, eyeshadow palette, and lip gloss.
