Aether Beauty eyeshadow palettes were the first zero-waste and plastic-free eyeshadow palettes that came to market. Aether Beauty was founded by Tiila Abbit, who was a former Sephora employee. She decided to create a product that could be broken down in the mainstream recycling system or sent to Terra Cycle. The Aether Palettes are some of the first in clean beauty to be brightly colored, use clean ingredients, and have the Clean at Sephora stamp of approval. Aether Beauty Rose Quartz Palette
The Rose Quartz Palette was the first palette that Aether released. It was a welcome change in the green beauty community’s world of neutral brown shades. The exterior shades of this palette are a mix of rosy pink mattes and shimmers, with some more neutral grey matte and shimmer shades. The interior shades are duo chromes. I would recommend using your fingers to apply the internal shadows. That is how you will get the best payoff. I was hesitant to purchase this palette when it first launched because it was such a new concept. Ultimately a friend gifted me this palette and I fell in love with it.
Aether Beauty Crystal Grid Gemstone Palette
The first Aether Beauty Palette that I purchased was the Crystal Grid Gemstone Palette. After swatching it a few times in various clean beauty stores, I bought it. I LOVE it! The shades are all shimmers, something that I prefer as my eyelids are different shapes, and I feel like the reflective particles give the optical illusion that my eyes are the same shape. This palette looks a little overwhelming to the newbie in makeup, but I promise it is SO easy to use. If the blue and red shade were removed, this palette would have a more neutral color story.
Aether Beauty Summer Solstice Palette
The Summer Solstice Palette is one of the more neutral palettes that Aether Beauty has launched. This palette has beautiful shades of gold, red and brown. The textures are matte, shimmer, duo-chrome, and satin. This was one of the more boring palettes, and I put off purchasing it for a bit, but I finally got my hands on it and fell in love with the pigment and formulation.
Aether Beauty Amethyst Crystal Gemstone Palette
If you are looking for a green beauty eyeshadow palette that is purple, this is your palette. The Amethyst Crystal Gemstone Palette contains shimmer, duo-chromes, and mattes. My college colors were purple and white, and I wish I had this palette then. Now that I am out of school, this isn’t one I reach for a ton. The quality is fantastic, but not a favorite color story.
Aether Beauty Joshua Tree Palette
I see the Joshua Tree Palette as the fraternal twin palette to the Crystal Grid. It is super colorful but all matte. This palette is gorgeous and reminds me of the ’90s. I have enjoyed the aesthetic of this palette.
