Evan Healy review

Sharing is caring!

Evan Healy, known as EvanHealy, is available in natural grocery stores and holistic beauty stores across the country. Most of their products are Certified Organic! If you’ve ever pursued Whole Food’s beauty aisle, you’ve seen their simplistic glass bottles filled with oils, cleansers, toners, and creams. Their line began with skincare and expanded into body care and makeup. Read on for my Evan Healy Review!

Evan Healy Cleansers

I have tried three Evan Healy Cleansers, including Rose Cleansing Milk, Tea Tree Gel Cleanser, and Blue Lavender Cleansing Milk. The Tea Tree Gel Cleanser is my favorite for a gentle, non-stripping cleanse. It has an herbal and tea tree scent and foams up slightly. The Tea Tree Cleanse is for those with oily or congested skin, but I have found that it works great as a second cleanse to remove makeup and impurities after an oil cleanse.

The Rose Cleansing Milk and Blue Lavender Cleansing Milk have remarkably similar ingredient decks. The only difference is that one contains Rose Geranium Oil, and the other contains Blue Chamomile Flower Oil. Both cleansers textures are creamy, with some EvanHealy Hydrosol infused to thin them out! I prefer the Evan Healy Cleansing Milk for morning cleansers, as I wear makeup and need something with a few more surfactants in it to remove the oils and butters found in cosmetics. These are great cleansers for non-makeup wearers and those with dry or irritated skin. If you struggle to choose between the two, remember that their ingredient index is almost the same, and the only real difference is the scent.

Evan Healy Hydrosol

My favorite skincare products from the Evan Healy skincare line are their Hydrosols. I have tried the Rose Geranium HydroSoul, Immortelle HydroSoul, and Lavender HydroSoul. All three of these Hydrosouls are super hydrating and formulated with organic ingredients. The three HydroSouls are distilled using various methods for their potent plant ingredients. They are not distilled for their oils but the water components in the plants. The Immortelle and Lavender HydroSouls are best for sensitive or sensitized skin. The Rose Geranium HydroSoul is recommended for combination or oily skin. I would say that any skin type could use all three of these. My favorites are the Rose Geranium and Lavender. I am not too fond of the Immortelle as I do not like the scent of Immortelle.

Blue Cactus Beauty Elixir

The Blue Cactus Beauty Elixir is an organic elixir formulated with two of my favorite ingredients: Jojoba and Blue Tansy. Blue Tansy is known for its calming properties, and Jojoba is known as one of the best skincare oils as it mimics the skin’s natural sebum. It absorbs into the skin nicely without leaving it greasy. I have liked this elixir as it is very calming and gentle.

Sanctuary Butter

I like the whipped, rich texture of the Sanctuary Butter, one of EvanHealy’s newer moisturizers. Due to the whipped consistency, this cream is not as heavy as most Shea Butter-based moisturizers. I found it to be somewhat airy and absorbent! The base of this cream is Shea Butter, Rosehip Seed Oil, Olive Oil, and Argan Oil. I don’t like to claim dupes, but I think this is a more affordable option than the True Botanicals Chebula Extreme Cream

Wild Carrot Nourishing Eye Balm

I picked up the Evan Healy Wild Carrot Nourishing Eye Balm at Indie Beauty Expo a few years back. This is one of Evan Healy’s most popular products. It is a great multi-purpose product! While this is recommended for the eye region, I have found myself using it as a lip balm and cuticle balm.

Whipped Blue Cactus Body Butter

The Whipped Blue Cactus Body Butter has a similar texture to the Sanctuary Butter. Shea Butter is also its base. The oils included in this creamy body concoction are sunflower seed oil, sesame oil, jojoba oil, and prickly pear oil. This butter adds moisture to dry skin without being too heavy or oily. The scent is woodsy and sweet from organic Tansy Flower Oil, Sandalwood Oil, and Ylang Ylang Flower Oil. I have liked this as it melts down to apply more like a body oil with heat!

Tinted Oil Serum Foundation

I have enjoyed the Evan Healy Tinted Oil Serum Foundation! It is oil-based and has medium coverage with a dewy finish. This foundation has seventeen shades, and the range is pretty good! The base of this foundation is a lovely organic blend of oils, including Jojoba Seed Oil, Broccoli Seed Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, and Argan Oil. I like this blend because the foundation doesn’t sit on top of the skin, but absorbs into it instead! The pigment comes from Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxides.

Evan Healy Review Brow Pomade

I have tried two shades of the Evan Healy Brow Pomade: Blonde and Taupe. I prefer Taupe, it’s more light brown in tone and blonde has red undertones. The pomade has a creamy formulation and a full brow can be created using the Evan Healy spoolie and angled brush.

Color Balm and Glow Balm

I have tried all three EvanHealy Color Balms and one shade of the Glow Balm. I have liked the silvery shade of the Luna Glow Balm most. It creamy and illuminating, great for my cool toned complexion! The Color Balm shades are red and berry based, and very pigmented. To see these shades in real time, check out my Evan Healy Makeup Review, here!
