Credo Beauty is one of my favorite places to shop for clean beauty. I recently received some of their new skincare arrivals. Credo has a short history in the beauty space but they have paved the trail for so many brands! Read on for more Credo Beauty new arrivals.
Why Credo Beauty?
One of my favorite things about Credo Beauty is that women founded 90% of the brands. I know it seems crazy, but most beauty brands are started and operated by men. It has always felt quite odd to me, considering that women make up most of the beauty market’s purchasing power. It is so great that Credo supports so many women-founded brands!
What Is Credo Beauty?
Credo Beauty is one of the largest clean beauty retailers in the world. They carry over 130 green beauty brands in-store and online. The Credo Clean Beauty Standards maintain that all products have safe ingredients, are sourced responsibly, have sustainable origins, and are produced ethically.
Where Is Credo Beauty Based?
The Credo Beauty headquarters is in San Francisco. They have expanded from their singular flagship San Francisco shop into ten other stores in Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Plano, New York City, and Brooklyn. Products from Credo Beauty will soon be available to purchase at select Ulta locations.
New Products at Credo Beauty
Credo has released many exciting new products that I’ve had the pleasure of trying out. They are from brands including Ursa Major, Bybi, Ranavat, Kaia Naturals, and Kinship.
Kinship Supermelt Vegan Lip Jelly Mask
Kinship has one of my FAVORITE SPF’s. It’s seriously one of the best, most affordable non-toxic SPFs out there. Anyway, their newest offer is a Vegan Lip Jelly Mask. I really like the Kinship has one of my FAVORITE SPF’s. It’s seriously one of the best, most affordable non-toxic SPFs out there. Anyway, their newest offer is a Vegan Lip Jelly Mask. I like the texture of this guy. It feels like melted petroleum jelly (without the petroleum, obviously) and smells like a vanilla cupcake. Considering the melted texture it is pretty thin, but very moisturizing. It turns matte after wearing it a bit but leaves the lips nourished as it wears away. (Retail Price, $18. Shop it, Here.)
BYBI Face Base
BYBI has a new facial moisturizer that I am pretty impressed with, especially because it is really affordable at $16 for 2 ounces. This moisturizer is calming, lightweight, and fast-absorbing. The base of this cream is jojoba butter, grape seed oil, and aloe vera– all super hydrating ingredients. (Retail Price, $16. Shop it, Here.)
URSA MAJOR Forest Alchemy Eye Cream
The new Ursa Major Eye Cream is formulated with forest-infused ingredients like Chaga, Tremella, Pink Snow Algae, and Wild Birch. It is supposed to help erase dark circles and restore radiance. It is pretty thick, not my favorite texture for an under-eye product. (Retail Price, $54. Shop it, Here.)
RANAVAT Flawless Veil Resurfacing Saffron Masque
Ranavat’s newest offer has an aloe and Saffron base. I LOVE the smell of it, so fresh and spRanavat’s newest offer has an aloe and Saffron base. I LOVE the smell of it, so fresh and spa-like. This mask resurfaces the skin using papaya enzymes and fruit-derived AHAs. Ranavat has updated its packaging, and I like the new aesthetic. The mask also comes with a brush for easy, sanitary application. (Retail Price, $75. Shop it, Here.)
KAIA NATURALS Brightening Deodorant
Kaia Naturals released two brightening products recently, one of them being this deodorant made with niacinamide for brightening, aloe to calm the skin, and probiotics to control odor. This deodorant is baking soda free and effective at combating underarm odor. I have used this during hot yoga class, and it has not done me dirty. The smell is different than other natural deodorants that I’ve tried in the past. It’s warm, like vanilla, and spicy like holiday pears. (Retail Price, $25. Shop it, Here.)
KAIA NATURALS The Brightening Body Bar
My favorite product from Kaia Naturals newness is the body bar. This is a soap that is My favorite product from Kaia Naturals newness is the body bar. This soap is formulated with ionic acid and licorice root extract, natural and effective brightening actives, to minimize dark spot pigmentation. I have found that this soap does a fantastic job cleansing the underarms and removing the butters and oils most natural deodorants use. I have loved their charcoal detox bar for this exact reason. (Retail Price, $24. Shop it, Here.)
